Obituary for Randal L. Cottrell
Randal Lee Cottrell, age 56, died on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his residence near Orrville after a period of declining health. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to be determined by the family to remember Randal. There will be no calling hours. As were his wishes, cremation has take place and ashes will be buried in Clay, West Virginia. He was born December 20, 1957 in Clay West Virginia, the son of Hollie and Meady (Truman) Cottrell. Randal attended school in Clay and was a graduate of Clay High School. He moved to Orrville and worked for Miller Pipeline, E.S. Wagner Construction and James White Construction. Randal enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving are daughters, Cassie (Jonathan) Preston of Orrville and Jessica Cottrell of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren MacKenzie and Shawn Preston, brothers,Verlon and Timothy Cottrell and a sister, Janice Cottrell Sears. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Cottrell.
