Obituary for Bernice Ann (Bea) Graber
Bernice Ann (Bea) Graber, age 78, of Wooster went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 01, 2013. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 9, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Smithville United Methodist Church, 234 N. Milton Street, Smithville, OH. Rev. Josh Arrington will be officiating. As was her wish, cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Capital Campaign at the Smithville United Methodist Church or Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Oh 44691 in her memory. She was born February 01, 1935 near Wooster, OH, the daughter of Davy and Ruth (Aldrich) Lytle. She married Bruce E. Graber in 1986 and he survives. Bea attended Smithville Schools and graduated in 1953. She had farmed on her own farm and worked as a planning supervisor at the OARDC until her retirement in 2003. Bea also worked at the First National Bank branch in Smithville for five years. She enjoyed music, playing both organ and piano and was a member of the Singing Grandmothers. Bea loved playing cards with friends and was a member of the Smithville Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Surviving her are husband, Bruce E. Graber, daughters, Tyann (John) Walker of Wooster, Kimberly (Richard) Mast of Smithville, Sheila (Greg) Conley of Richwood and son, Nelson Woods of Wooster. Also surviving are grandchildren, Matthew (Amber) Walker, Nicholas (Janice) Walker, Caitlin (Cruz) Lizarraga, Tonja Mast, Joshua Moore, Alicia Moore and Colton Moore and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Keith of Smithville, Joyce Grimes of Orrville, Nancy Kauffman of Wooster, and Clara Donley of Loudenville; and a brother, Norman Lytle of Amarillo, Texas. Preceding her in death are her parents, brother Glenn Lytle and a sister, Marilyn Kurk.
