Obituary for Daisy E. Stoll
Daisy E. Stoll, age 95, formerly of Marshallville, died peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster,OH. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 02, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm St. Orrville. Jim Bassinger and Mark Bankert will be officiating. Burial will be at the St. Michael's Cemetery near Marshallville, OH. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012, 1 Hr before services at the funeral home. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd.,Wooster, OH 44691 in her memory. She was born January 21, 1917 at Pequea (Lancaster County) PA, the daughter of Howard and Anna (Erb) Campbell. She married Ralph F. Stoll on April 20, 1947 and moved to the family farm near Marshallville where she raised her family and worked on the farm. Ralph died in 1965. She enjoyed flowers and was an avid gardener. After retirement, Daisy provided respite care for local families through the Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilitities. She had made here home with her daughter Anna Bailey for a number of years in Wooster Surviving her are sons, Chester R. (Barbara) Stoll of Marshallville and Elmer (Gayle) Stoll of Wooster, daughter, Anna Bailey of Wooster (with whom she lived in recent years), grandchildren, Christopher Bailey, Ralph C. (Lisa) Stoll, Karen Stoll, Rebecca (Bruce) Sigler, David (Heather) Stoll, Sarah (Josh) Aduddell, Katie Stoll, Amanda (Jaime) Rodriguez and Jessica Aberegg. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Tristen & Ethan Stoll, Blake Sigler, Noah & Hannah Stoll, Riley Aduddell, Tre'Vaughn Stoll, and Brisa Rodriguez; sisters, Thelma Gibson of Lancaster, PA and Susan Gingrich of Baden, Ontario, Canada and a brother Guy E. Campbell of Pequea, PA. She is preceded in death by parents Howard and Anna Campbell, husband Ralph F. Stoll and 13 brothers and sisters.
