Obituary for Ethel L. Taylor
Ethel L. Taylor, age 104, died on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville,OH after a period of declining health. A private family service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at Gresser Funeral Home, Orrville, OH. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. There will be no public visitation She was born December 16, 1906 in Hungary and was orphaned at age 11. Ethel came to the U.S. where she was raised and later married Raymond Taylor at age 18. She lived in Cleveland, OH for the next 80 years and spent the last 6 years in Orrville. Ethel attended the Normal School and regretted not being able to attend college. She was an avid reader and was a loving and generous grandmother. Surviving her are grandchildren Steve (Peggy) Kovacs of Orrville; Paul (Karolyn) Kovacs of Val Rico Fl.; Mark (Christine) Kovacs of Colorado Springs, CO; Andrew Kovacs of Cleveland, Oh; Susan (Burt) Bechtel of San Pablo, CA; and Chuck (Vicki) Taylor; Doris(Tony)Serna; Janet (Pat) Frostad; and Cheryl (Steve) Duncan all of Arizona, a daughter in law Donna Taylor of Arizona,19 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren including Owen Lilley of Wooster. Preceding her in death are her husband, son Raymond Taylor, daughter Jeanette Kovacs, an infant son, and her sister Elizabeth.
