Obituary for Stephen B. Marks
Stephen Blair Marks, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg,Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2018, 11:00 AM at the Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm St. Orrville. Pastor Jack Westfall will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville,OH.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019, 9 - 11 AM prior to services at funeral home.
He was born June 18, 1941 in Sand Fork, West Virginia, son of the late John Marks & Nellie (Burkhammer) Marks. Stephen was the youngest of thirteenchildren. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice ( Feikert) Marks; daughter Sheila & Russell Falls of Millstone, WV, daughter Sondra Jackson of Wheeling WV and daughter Heather Marks, an art teacher in Mansfield Ohio; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren: one great-great-grandchild, and one sister Barbra Greathouse. Stephen was an avid storyteller, history buff, cook and banjo player as well as a veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Charlotte and son John, as well as 11 of his brothers and sisters
