Karen S. Short, age 63, died on Wednesday, February 02, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.
A private family service will be held Tuesday, February 08, 2022, 11:00 AM at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville. Pastor Chuck Davis of Calvary Assembly of God will be officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH.
There will be no calling hours.

Karen was born in Waynesburg, Pa to Harry and Edith (Hixenbaugh) Brown on November 17, 1958. She married Larry Short on June 3rd, 1977 in Maryland. She graduated from Mapletown High School. She worked as a Clerk for Buehlers.
Karen is survived by husband Larry B Short, son Jason S Short and his fiancé Virgina E. Branham of Wooster, daughter Brandy D. Short of Wooster and son Joshua J Short of Orrville, brother Harry Brown and wife Rose Brown of PA, a sisters Geneva Wagner of PA, Judy and husband John Senkinc of PA, brother-in-law Michael and wife Patricia Curtis of Wooster, brother-in-law Steve Curtis of Marshallville, sister-in-law Susan Morrison of Marshallville, sister-in-law Diane (Louise) and husband Jonas Miller of Wooster, brother-in-law Keith and Jennifer McMorrow of WV, brother-in-law David McMorrow of PA. Also surviving are grandchildren Cameron Sloneker, Brianna Huebner, Shaianne Short, Tristan Short, Alexis Short, Donnovin Short, Jaden Short, Jillian Short, Ayden Short and Chloee Short and 3 great grandchildren.
