Obituary for James A. Conrad
James A. Conrad, 90, of Marshallville, passed away Sunday January 16, 2022 after a period of declining health, (non-Covid).
He was born Sept. 29, 1931 in Sterling to Maurice and Ethel (Culler) Conrad. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1951 and married Lucille Kelbly on June 28, 1952. They were happily married for 67 years until her death in 2019. Jim was an owner/operator and drove truck for nearly 60 years.
He is survived by daughter Marcia Conrad of Orrville, son Richard (Teresa) Conrad, grand-daughter Dawn (Brian) Klett, great-grandsons Conrad Marshall and Austin Klett, all of Sterling and sister Phyllis (William) Haskins of Orrville.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife Lucille, son Tom, sisters Nina Shearer, Dorothy Conrad, and Janet Steiner.
