Obituary for Paul Edward Kissel
Paul Edward Kissell, age 80, went home to be with the Lord and joined his wife and sons on October 5, 2021 at home in Orrville, Ohio surrounded by family after a period of declining health. He was born on November 24, 1940 in Randolph, Ohio to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Keller) Kissel, and married the late Juanita (Bell) Kissel on March 11, 1961 in Douglassville, GA.
Paul worked as a truck driver all his life and enjoyed astronomy, animals, the Browns and Buckeyes, and reading history books. His first priority and interest however was spending time with his family. Paul also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Paul is survived by a son John Henry I; grandchildren Amanda, Raymond, Shannon, Jessica, and John Henry II; great-grandchildren Lillian, Peyton, Kendall, Landon, John Henry 111 , and Adia. Also surviving are sisters Audrey Smith, Arlene Seely, Martha Smith, and Maxine Saltsman.
Preceding Paul are his parents and wife, sisters Birdella McHenry, Donna Hughes, and Doris Smith, brother Laverne (Buddy), and sons Edward and Dale Kissel.
