Obituary for William H. Miller
Bill Miller passed away peacefully on Monday evening, September 14 at Wayne County Care Center. He was 81 years old.

He was born in Orrville, Ohio to Howard Miller and Irene (Audet) on June 23, 1939. He graduated from Orrville High School in 1957. He married Margaret A. (Hofstetter) on July 3, 1959. They lived and raised their children in Wadsworth and were members of the First Christian Church. After raising their children, they moved to Wooster.

He is survived by daughter, Lisa Marie (Don) Rychel of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Steven H. (Susan S.) Miller of Wooster and Jeffrey G. (Jessica L.) Miller of Chicago, Ill.; his sister Karen (Tom) Woodward of Wooster, a sister-in-law, Lee (Bill) Generke of Wadsworth; five grandchildren, Hannah (Jerry) Rowlands, Benjamin Rychel, Natalie Rychel, Kristina Miller and Anna Miller and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, sister Peggy Miller Psolla

Bill started working for General Tire (Gencorp) at the age of 19 as a janitor in the Research Department. His mechanical skills were soon discovered and he retired from Gencorp after 37 years with several patents. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, carving and had a passion for anything with a motor. Bill was a kind man with a little bit of orneriness and yet had a soft spot for puppies. Bill was a member of the Noon Wooster Lions, Silver Sneakers, and the Wooster Carving Club. He remained an active member of the Orrville High School Alumni Class of 1957 and was a member of Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Smithville.

The family would like to express our gratitude to Comfort Keepers- Mary Henry, Lifecare Hospice of Wayne County, and the devoted staff of the Wayne County Care Center, for their excellent attention to our father.

Bill will be buried at Oak Grove Mennonite Church with a private family service. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oak Grove Mennonite Church or Life Care Hospice of Wooster
