Roy was a wonderful, loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by friends and family. Roy worked at Crown Steel (Orrville Metal Specialty) for approximately fifteen years and was Plant Superintendent. He joined Orrville Products Group (Orrville Body) in 1960 as an Estimator, and was promoted to various positions, including Vice President of Operations. In 1975, he purchased stock in Magni Power in Wooster, OH and was a minority owner, and as Plant Manager. In 1983, he was promoted to Ex. V.P. of Operations and member of the Board of Directors. He retired in 1989 but stayed with Magni Power as a consultant until 1992. After that, he enjoyed driving cars to and from many places for Maibach Ford thru 2011. He was a member of V.F.W. (Post 3446), American Legion (Post 282) of Orrville and a life-long member of Christ United Church of Christ. He was a volunteer fireman approximately 15 years serving under four Chiefs (K. Mann, L. Null, R. Stuckey, M. Martin). He was a member of the Fireman's Indemnity Board for twenty plus years until death. He loved travel, hunting, fishing, target shooting, and playing cards; most sports, but his favorite sport was Orrville Rider Football. Also surviving are brothers, John D.
