Obituary for Paul William Smith Jr.
Paul William Smith Jr, age 63, died unexpectedly at his home in Marshallville, Ohio on Saturday, January 14, 2012. A celebration of life gathering was held Sunday January 22, 2012 at his home for family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at the Hillview Memorial Park in Alexander City, AL. at a later date. He was born July 20, 1948 at Wadsworth, Ohio, the son of Paul and Virginia (Keller) Smith. He attended Wadsworth High School and graduated in the Class of 1966. Paul also attended the Cleveland Electronics Institute and went on to proudly serve in the US Air Force as an aircraft electrical technician during Vietnam Era and retired from Michigan Air National Guard. Paul was noted for his sence for his humor and was always a "punny person". His family loved his birthday cards and his "Paul Fucious" sayings and jokes, making everyone around him smile and laugh. Paul's intersets included the hobbies of collecting train sets and planes, following local sports of golf, baseball and football and his love of animals and birds. Surviving are a daughter Becky Smith-Dansby and her husband Bruse A. Dansby of Columbus,GA , grandchildren Michael (Cassie) Smith, Isaac Smith, Paula(Kevan)Pena, Zahara, Celeste, Analise, Tamara Dansby, Bruce Dansby Jr. and great-grandchildren Chase Pena Trinity Smith. Also surviving are brother James Leroy Smith and nephews Jason and Andrew Smith of Wadsworth. Preceding him in death are his parents Virginia and Paul Smith Sr.
