Obituary for Nelson L. Woods
-- Nelson L. Woods, age 62 died suddenly of natural causes on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home near Wooster, OH.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours or visitation. A memorial service will take place at a date and time to be determined by the family.
He was born July 16, 1957 in Wooster, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Bernice (Lytle) Woods. Nelson attended school in Smithville and was a graduate of Smithville High School and Wayne County Career Center in 1975. He also took numerous continuing education courses at Wayne College. Nelson was currntly employed at Orrvillon and formerly at JLG in Orrville.
Nelson was a kind and generous man. He enjoyed reading, classical music, PBS and his family. He was an active member of a medieval re-enactment group for many years. He supported numerous charities. Most of all, he will be missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Ralph (Phyllis) Woods, Sisters Tyann (John) Walker, Kimberly Mast and Sheila (Greg) Conley. Also surviving are stepfather, Bruce Graber and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Bernice Graber (Mother) and brother-in-law, Richard Mast.
