Mildred R. Powers, age 100, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2017 at Orrville Pointe in Orrville,
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Monday November 27, 2017 at Fairlawn Mennonite Church; 8520 Emerson Rd., Apple Creek, Ohio 44606. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in her memory.

She was born February 16, 1917 in Bradley, Illinois to Casper and Bessie Born. She married John H. Powers on January 28, 1945 in San Antonio Texas while they were both in the service.
She is survived by her children; Barbara (Doug) Craig, John Jr. (Karla) Powers, Richard (Amy) Powers, and Carol (Milt) Eberly. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Fran, Ray and Bernard as well as her husband, John, daughter, Deborah, 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren
