Obituary for Marilyn M. Lepley
Marilyn M. Lepley, age 68, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Canton Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio after a briel illness. A Graveside services will be held Thursday May 22, 2014 at 2:30 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH. Pastor Bill Lawson will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 22, 2014 from 1 to 2:30 PM. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville, OH. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to any church of the donors choice in lieu of flowers. She was born on July 9, 1945, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Siegenthaler) Swinehart in Massillon , OH. She married Leonard Lepley on November25, 1977 and he died in 2011. They had lived in Salesville, OH until Leonard's death and Marilyn then returned to Orrville area. Her greatest love was her 3 step grandchildren, Maggie Elkin, Linsey Elkin and Michael Wile. Also dear to her were all the children she had taught in the church where she and Leonard had attended over the years. Surviving her are a brother John(JoElla) Swinehart of Orrville, 2 nephews Jim and John Swinehart and 3 step children Lynda (Bud ) Elkin, Susan Wile and Cindy Scott. Also surviving are step grand children Maggie Elkin Treu, Linsey Elkin, Michael Wile, Aaron Scott, Joel Scott and Cindy Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard, parents and numerous aunt and uncles and a step son.
