Obituary for Margaret M. "Marney" Wertz
Margaret M. Wertz, age 92 passed away suddenly September 7, 2021.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, 10:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Ch., 3 E. Church Street Marshallville. Pastor Joyce Williams will be officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Marshallville, OH.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, 6-8 pm at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville. It is strongly suggested that masks be worn during visitation and services at the church. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Trinity United Church, % VIM (disaster relief) P.O. Box 2 Marshallville, OH 44645 in her memory.

Marney was born is Massillon, OH on Feburary 7, 1929 to Raymond R. and C. Grace (Keller)
Weisgarber. She graduated from Dalton H. S. in 1947. On August 29, 1948, she married Vernon F.
Wertz and lived her married life in Marshallville and wintered in Central Florida the last 40 years.
She is survived by children R. Scott (Kathryn) Wertz, Keith (Linda) Wertz, Gloria W. Barrowcliffe, Wesley (Jeanne) Wertz, Stanley (Catherine) Wertz, and Merlin (Jennifer) Wertz. She is also survived by 12grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a sister Bonnie Hall of North Carolina and a sister-in-law Sally
Slusser of Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon in 2003, also sister and brother-in-law Maurice
and Geraldine Curie, brother James Weisgarber, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Allen and Ida
Cunningham and Calvin and Miriam Karlen, brother-in-law Donald Hall and daughter-in-law Kathy
