Obituary for Logan M. Shumney
Logan M. Shumney, age 14, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home in Orrville, Ohio.
A private family service will be held at the discretion of the Family. A celebration of life will be held at Mizer Field in Orr Park, Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 11:00 am. There will be no calling hours.

He was born November 04, 2009 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Justin and Ellen (Gresser) Shumney. Logan attended Orrvillle City School where he excelled in academics and was a member of the incoming class. He played baseball and football for the Orrville Red Riders
In Logan’s free time he enjoyed playing computer games withhis friends, wiffle ball and pickleball with his family, and snow skiing in the winter.
He is survived by his parents Justin and Ellen Shumney and a brother Luke; Grandparents, Jeanette Shumney (Granette), Alwyn Caraballo, Gary Shumney and Jon and Deb Gresser; Aunts and Uncles, Leah Shumney, Erin and Michael Downs and cousins, Tolan and Jaxon Clark. Also surviving are great grandmother Rita Premo, many great aunts and uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in his passing by his great grandparents Malcolm Premo and Robert & Kathleen Gresser.
