Obituary for June H. Rehm
June H. Rehm, age 90, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster,OH.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2016, 11:00 AM at Gresser Funeral Home. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to services. Rev. Charles Tobais will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH.
She was born November 25, 1925 and raised in Congress, OH by her mother and father Ruby (Sheperd) and Clyde Stanley on the family farm. She worked in the Wayne County Records Office where she met her future husband, Les, when he recorded his Army discharge. They were married on March 20, 1947. After Les graduated from college, they lived in a number of locations included Venezuela and eventually settled in Lakewood, Ohio. They put their two sons through college and retired in Wooster.
June was an outstanding piano player and teacher, playing every day up until recently. Her piano has been donated to Wayne Manor Assisted Living. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi service sorority in Wooster and later in Lakewood.
Surviving are sons Ron and his wife Kathy and their children Heather (husband George) and Holly (husband Michael), son Ken and his wife Sherry and their children Betsy and Jeff. Also surviving are a brother Warren and a sister Glorine.
She was preceded in death by Clyde Stanley (Father), Ruby Sheperd (Mother), brother Norman and sisters Evelyn, Marguerite, Carol.
