Obituary for John A. Jones
Walhonding-- John Anthony Jones, age 72 died suddenly on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at his home in Walhonding, Ohio.
He was born June 20, 1952 to Allen and Lucille (Rupp) Jones in Massillon, Oh. John attended school in Orrville and graduated with the Class of 1970. After his graduation, John joined U.S Army and served in the Vietnam era and was stationed in South Korea at the DMZ
John was a life-long Cleveland Indians and Brown fan. He also loved hunting and fishing and just being in the great outdoors. John will be sadly missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his brothers Joe and Jeff Jones and nieces and nephews.
As were John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation.
