Obituary for James R. Shupp
James R. Shupp, age 76, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 01, 2018 at his home in Orrville, Ohio.
Friends and relatives may call Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at Gresser Funeral Home 415 N. Elm Street, Orrville from 6 -8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends may make a donation to Orrville High School Athletic Department, N. Ella Street, Orrville, OH 44667 in his memory.
Jim was born on November 28, 1942 to the late George and Mary (Moser) Shupp. He married Connie Demlow on January 14, 1966.
He graduated from Orrville High School in 1960, and went on to work at Westinghouse, Orrville Leather, and most recently, up to the time of his death, Chem Spec USA. Jim was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed spending time on numerous projects around the house and for his children and grandchildren. He was very active and loved following his grandchildren’s many activities. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving in addition to his wife Connie are sons Kerby (Tawni) Shupp of Orrville and Deacon Shupp of Cleveland Heights; six grandchildren, Jillian Shupp, Kate Shupp, James Shupp, Ava Shupp, Romy Shupp and Margaret Shupp; two sisters, Nancy Hranko and Karen Grosjean and brother Arthur (Butch) Shupp, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patricia (Jeannette) Maiwurm and Joan Stanford.
