Obituary for Hollie R. Ferrebee
Hollie Ray Ferrebee, age 65, died on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Laurels of Canton after an extended battle with chronic kidney disease.
A celebration of his life and a sharing of memories will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016, 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm St. Orrville. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will on Saturday in West Virginia.
He was born December 12, 1950 in Sutton, West Virginia, the son of Teddy and Olive (Cottrell) Ferrebee. He had worked Technocast in Orrville and was a volunteer fireman and foreman of appartas at the Orrville Fire Department. Hollie also had been a farmer at a farm outside of Marshallville.
Hollie is survived by a son David Ferrebee, a daughter Edna Moore, and 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Eddie and Teddy Ferrebee and a sister Edna.
He was preceded in death by Teddy Ferrebee (Father), Olive Ferrebee (Mother), and Roy Ferrebee (brother).
