Obituary for Helen E. Waldron
Helen E. Waldron, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after an extended illness. There will be a celebration of life held Thursday, September 27, 2012, 6:00 PM at the Orrville C&MA Church, 300 S. Walnut Street. Rev. Ray Pfahler and Rev. Mark Buchwalter will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH. There will be no calling hours. She was born in Blissfield, Ohio September 13,1929 to Charles Wilmer Taylor and Nina Mae Downes Taylor. She was married December 24,1951 to Norman L Waldron who preceded her in death. She was an active member of C&MA Church in Orrville and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and longed to be home with her precious Savior. She was an amazing prayer warrior and regularly attended "God's Night School". She was a secretary of Sparks in the Awana program for Children with 10 years of perfect attendance. She often quoted Eph. 2:1-10 She worked at Regal Ware in Wooster for 28 years as an assembler. She also worked as a cook at Min's Diner and the Greyhound Bus Station as a young woman in Wooster. Helen and her late husband Norman owned and operated Helnor's restaurant in Wooster in the late 50's. Surviving are five children, Roger D. (Vickie) Waldron Wooster, Daniel P. (Susan) Waldron Cooksville, TN, Norma L. Wilfong, Nancy (Robert) Howard, & Harold E. (Wendy) Waldron all of Orrville, 15 grandchildren, & 17 great-grandchildren and two sisters Jean Fath of Smithville, and Betty Green of Lake City FL. In lieu of flowers the family would like for you to bring a filled shoebox for Operation Christmas Child to her service Thursday evening.
