Obituary for Francoise M. Sauers
Francoise M. (Champagne) Sauers, of Orrville, died on December 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 14, 1931, to Romeo and Elizabeth (Ricard) Champagne. She married Harold L. Sauers on September 23, 1957, in Quebec, Canada. They settled in Orrville in 1963 and made it their forever home.
There were many trips to and from Canada throughout their lives to be with family. They both loved to travel, and music and dancing together were special to them both. Francoise was an avid knitter and enjoyed tending her flower beds.
She is survived by children Louise Lemay, Irene Lagarde, daughter-in-law Susan (Russell) Swain, all of Quebec, Canada, Danny (Sharon) Sauers and Linda (John) Kraft both of Ohio. Grandchildren Pierre O. Lemay, Martin Provost, Kathleen (Steve) Provost, Mathieu Lagarde, Sarah (Tony) Lagarde, Samantha (Guillaume) Lagarde, all of Quebec, Dalyn (Josh) Johnson, Jacob (Samantha) Kraft, Alex (Clelia) Kraft, all of Ohio, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, a brother Francois, son Guy (Susan) Lagarde, and grandson Jeremiah Schaut.
The family will have a private ceremony to honor Francoise. Any close friends are welcome to contact the family to express their condolences
