Obituary for Emma F. Geiser
Emma F. Geiser, age 85, died on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her home after an entended illness near Smithville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm St. Orrville, OH. Pastor Robert Moskowitz will be officiating. Burial will be at the Paradise Cemetery south of Smithville,OH. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, 1 Hr before services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends may make a donation to the charity of donors choice in her memory. She was born January 21, 1926 at Smithville, Ohio, the daughter of Fred and Alta (Stuckey) Begert. She married Clair "Bud" Geiser on November 6, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1983. Emma lived in the Orrville/Smithville area her entire life. She attended rural and graduated from Smithville High School in 1943. She was a homemaker and farmer, loved to garden and until her death resided on the farm where she and her husband raised their family. Surviving are three children, Chester (Michaela) Geiser, Roger (Sara) Geiser, and Jo Ann (Gary) Nichols, four grandchildren Jonie (Nathan) Huffman, Angie Geiser, Pattie Geiser, and Carrie Geiser, three great grandchildren, Cal and Valerie Huffman and James Willis, all of the Wooster area, a sister Lorna Wiebe of Orrville and many nieces and nephews. Her family greatly loved and appreciated the never-ending supply of love and support that Emma selflessly provided. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
