Obituary for Eddie Denton Ferrebee
Eddie Denton Ferrebee, AKA “Dumpy”, loving father, grandfather and brother passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 after a brief illness.
The family will conduct a celebration his life on March 1, 2021 6:00 -8:00 PM at Gresser Funeral Home, Orrville. Cremation has taken place. Face masks will be required and social distancing observed.
It is suggested that friends and family may make a donation to his daughter to help defray final expenses at the funeral home.
Eddie was born on August 26th, 1961 in Gassaway, West Virginia to Olive (Cottrell) and Teddy Woodrow Ferrebee. He worked for many years at Technocast in Orrville, OH and then drove truck for Superior and most recently 101 Corperation. He enjoyed camping, riding quads, visiting West Virginia or “Down Home” and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Ferrebee) Brown and son-in-law Joseph Brown, sister Karen (Ferrebee) McAfee and brother-in-law Mac McAfee, his brother Teddy Ferrebee, grand son Kurt Denton Brown and several nieces and nephews.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father Teddy, mother Olive and two older brothers Roy and Hollie Ray Ferrebee.
