Obituary for Dwight E. Blough
Dwight Eugene Blough, 63, passed away unexpectedly May 9, 2015, at Smithville Western Care Center outside Smithville, OH A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 6:30 pm at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren (7207 Chippewa Rd, Orrville, OH). Gresser Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A private burial will follow at East Chippewa Cemetery. Born Dwight Eugene Greegor on October 15, 1951 to Newton R. and Edna (Curtiss-Steele) Greegor, he was brought up by his uncle and aunt, Harley Dale and Ann (Curtiss-Steele) Blough in Smithville, OH. Baptized by Pastor Guy Buch, he was a lifetime member of East Chippewa Church of the Brethren. He attended Smithville Schools then worked on Roy Farvor's chicken farm then Nick Amster Workshop until he retired. Dwight made friends easily. Rain, shine or snow, he delighted in walking all around Wooster. He enjoyed fishing, lending a hand, sports, crafts, playing cards, country gospel music, social events and eating a good meal. He is survived by his twin sister, Dianna L. Greegor, Wooster; niece, Meredith Ann Blough, Chicago, Illinois; cousin, Vicki S. Blough of Sarasota, Florida; step-mother, Bonnie (Davis) Greegor Stickler, Orrville; half-siblings Roger 'Mouse' Greegor, Orrville; and Susan Greegor, Orrville; niece Olivia (Greegor) Orosz, Orrville; nephew Zachary Greegor; and great-nephews Elijah Coleman, Caleb Orosz and Carter Orosz. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Newton R. and Edna Greegor; uncle and aunt, Harley D. & Ann Blough; brother, Ron L. Blough; sister, Rose Mary Greegor; and half-brother Larry Greegor.
