Obituary for Donna M. Rice
Donna M. Rice, age 67, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Dunlap Community Hospital in Orrville, Ohio. No funeral services or visitation are planned at her request. The body is to be cremated. She was born March 02, 1943 in Barberton, OH, the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Sietz) Stark. Donna attended St. Augustine Elementary School and Barberton High School. In her early years, she was a beautician in the Akron, Stow, Copley area. Later, she worked in resturants and cleaned hotels in Alabama while taking care of her parents. Donna enjoyed search word puzzles and watching the Cleveland Indians. Donna's health deteriorated in 1998 due to a heart attack and in 2009 she resided at the Apostolic Christian Home until her death. Surviving her are a sister Nancy Houk of Marshallville, with whom she resided for 19 years, a brother John (Deidra) Stark of Reseda, CA and nieces and nephews Kimberly Rohrer of Marshallville, Duane Houk of Georgia, Amy Stark and Scott Stark, both of California.
