Obituary for Debra J. Scott
Debra Jean Scott, age 53, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012, 11:30 AM at the Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville. Pastor Mark Hunt will be officiating. A private family internment of cremains will be at the Newman Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence at a later time convienent to the family Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 10-11:30 AM at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be direct to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, OH 44691 in her memory. She was born February 05, 1959 at Bellaire, OH, the daughter of Charles E. and Olive M. (Travis) Brandon. She attended Smithville schools and graduated Smithville High School. After graduation, Deb attended beauty school and operated her own solon. Her most recent occupation was food and beverage manager of the Wayne County Justice Center in Wooster. Deb enjoyed cooking, reading, the outdoors and being with her family. Surviving are a son, Adrian Miller of Akron, a daughter, Aubrey Barkey, granddaughters, Allison and Olivia Miller, a brother, Jim (Barb) Brandon of Wooster, sisters Karen (Oscar) Adams of Daytona Beach FL, Rose (Chuck) Hatley of Apple Creek and a step-father Virgil Justice of North Lawrence. Preceding her in death are her parents Charles E. Brandon and Olive M. Justice.
