Obituary for David W. Steiner
David W. Steiner, age 55, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 surrounded by his family at his home near Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 01, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3355 Medina Road, Medina OH 44256. Rev. Daniel Haberkost will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, 6-8 PM at the Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3355 Medina Road Medina, OH 44256 in his memory. He was born August 23, 1959 in Orrville, Ohio, the son Wilson D and Mildred L. (Deibel) Steiner. David attended Orrville schools and graduated Orrville High School in 1977 and the University of Akron. On February 25, 1989, he married Janet L. Nolt and this February renew his vows with his wife for their 25th anniversary celebration. David was employed by the City of Orrville as an instrument technician for 28 years. Prior to being employed by the city, he worked at Westinghouse for 5 years. He enjoyed anything involving music; he played many brass instruments and the piano. His wife Janet and his one son Nathanial J. Steiner survive David. His parents preceded him in death.
