-- Clyde Benjamin Seckel, age 78, formerly of Orrville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in Ravenna, OH.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, 11:00 AM at the Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel in Orrville.
He was born on March 8, 1931, in Orrville to Paul and Freda Seckel, and graduated from Orrville High School. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen, and will be missed by his children, Kathi, Jeanna, Scott and Mary Louise and their families, as well as brothers David and Fred and their families. Clyde came to realize, as was his hope for others, the truth of John Newton’s words, that he was “a great sinner and Christ is a great savior.”
