Chad David Seifried, 50, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 following a year-long battle with cancer.
Chad was born on October 14, 1975 in Fridley, Minnesota. He grew up in Orrville, and after attending Orrville High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy, spending the next 10 years serving his country. Following his time in the service, he settled in Boulder, Colorado where he worked in industrial sales, most recently with Home Depot Supply. He enjoyed traveling the world while in the Navy, then camping, fishing and bike riding in the Colorado Rockies with several close friends. He cherished his time with relatives, especially his brother and cousins, at family gatherings.
Chad is survived by his daughter, Maile of Covington, LA; father, Steve (Valori) Seifried of Orrville; mother, Pamela (Jeff) Morehead of Seville; brother Joe (Grace) of Kaneohe, Hawaii; stepsisters Wendy Kissinger and Kelly McCall (Josh), both of Wadsworth; and many cousins, aunts and uncles throughout the United States.
A private family service will be held at the Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery on Crown Hill Road in Orrville at 11:00 am on Friday November 21. In addition to family, friends of the family are also invited to the Blackberry Club House, also on Crown Hill Road, for a light lunch at noon.
