Obituary for Carol J. Schrock
Columbus-Carol J. Schrock, age 82, formerly of Orrville, died on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Brookdale Chestnut Hill under Kindred Care Hospice assistance in Columbus, Ohio after a period of declining health.
Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017, 11:00 AM at the Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel,
N. Crown Hill Road, Orrville, OH. Pastor Randy Gehres will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH.
There will be no calling hours. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the Christ United Church Memorial Fund, 201 N Main Street, Orrville, OH 44667 in her memory.
She was born June 23, 1934 in Orrville, Ohio, the daughter of Truman and Nita (Smith) Schrock. Carol attended Orrville schools and graduated Orrville High School in 1952. She was a long time resident of Orrville and was employed as a legal secretary at Kropf and Wagner Law Firm from 1953 until her retirement in 1996.
She is survived by a sister, Donna M. (Schrock) Tredway, her niece, Diane K. (Tredway) Thompson, and nephew, James J. Tredway, all of the Columbus area.
She was preceded in death by Truman F. Schrock (Father) in 1988, Nita A. Schrock (Mother) in 1976,
and sisters Doris K. Schrock in 2015 and Marjorie Ann Schrock (infant) in 1932.
