Obituary for Carol Ann Snyder
Carol Ann Snyder, age 69, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 24, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Orrville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm St. Orrville. Rev. John W. Castle will be officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Marshallville,OH. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home in Orrville, OH. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers friends may make a donation to Wayne/Holmes Mental Health Coalition, 1273 Lincoln Way,Wooster, OH 44691 or the Rittman Community Free Will Baptist Church P.O. Box 16, Rittman, OH 44270 in her memory She was born September 02, 1940 in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Wava (Morris) Snyder. Carol attended Smithville schools and graduated Smithville High School in 1958. She worked at several manufacturing facilities in Orrville and retired from the Quality Castings Company where she was a receptionist for 25 years. Carol was a born again Christian and a member of the the Rittman Community Free Will Baptist Church where she attended many social and spiritual activities. She also enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time with her family. Surviving her are a daughter, Liana M. (Jeff) Curie, of Orrville, a brother, Jerry (Deb) Snyder of Orrville, sisters Janie (Don) Ellis of Rittman, Sue (Keith) Rowland, and Tammy (Roger) Hale of Smithville, grandchildren Jordan Robideau, Mandie Teague and Jayme Curie and a brother-in-law Danny Scott of Orrville. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews Josh, Jess, Rob, David, Medora, Deb and Donna. Preceding her in death are her parents, a sister Sandy Scott and a nephew.
