Obituary for Carl R. Graber
Carl R. Graber, age 87, died on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville after a period of declining health.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 01, 2016, 11:00 AM at Gresser Funeral Home 415 N. Elm St. Orrville. Pastor Jack Westfall will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Church Cemetery near Marshallville, OH.
The family will receive friends and relatives an hour prior to services at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice
in his memory.
He was born October 30, 1928 in Cleveland, the son of Lester and Marie (Douglas) Graber, Sr. He was a farmer on his own farm all through his life. Carl loved NASCAR and dirt track racing.
Surviving are children Dorothy (Dwight) Haught, Anna (Tom) Armentrout, Donna (Dave) Story, LuAnn (Barry) Walker, Robert (Pam) Graber, and David (Stephanie) Graber. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren
Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother Lester Graber.
