Obituary for Carl E. Beichler
Carl E. Beichler, age 82, died on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster, Ohio after a period of declining health. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015, 11:00 AM at the Smithville United Methodist Church in Smithville. Pastor Carolyn Berry will be officiating. Burial will be at the Smithville Cemetery in Smithville, OH. The family will receive friends and relatives at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville on Wednesday, August 30, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691 in his memory. He was born April 21, 1933 in Marion, OH, the son of Glen and Cecelia (Giet) Beichler. He attended Smithville schools. Carl married Joanne Singer November 19, 1950 and they lived and raised a family near Orrville. He had worked at Rubbermaid, Inc. in the maintenance department and Wayne Machine until his retirement. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and was an especially avid sports fan of his kids and grandchildren. Surviving him are Susan (Sam) Sayre, 2 children and 2 grandchildren; Deborah (Ron) Leach, 2 children and 6 grandchildren; Michael (Brenda) Beichler, 2 children and 4 grandchildren; Thomas (Ronel) Beichler, 7 children and 9 grandchildren; and Shari (Dennis) Indermuhle, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister Donna (Sis) Patterson, sister in law Dorothy Beichler and a special friend Wyonna Manack and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Joanne, and brothers Robert and Don Beichler.
