Obituary for Betty M. Sachariat
Betty M. Sachariat, age 89, died suddenly on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Dunlap Community Hospital in Orrville, Ohio. A private family graveside service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010, 3:00 PM at the Apple Creek Cemetery, Apple Creek, OH. Rev. Jacqueline McMillen will be officiating. There will be no calling hours. She was born February 05, 1921 in Apple Creek, Ohio, the daughter of Glenn and Mary (Weidman) Seigley. She married Richard F. Sachariat and he died in 1971. Betty attended school in Apple Creek and graduated in the Class of !938. She held numerous jobs outside the home retiring from Wooster Farm & Fleet as a clerk. She enjoyed life on the family farm and being with her extended family. Surviving her are sons Richard G. (Valerie) Sachariat of North Carolina and Fred Sachariat of Apple Creek, OH, daughters, Betty M. (Jerry) Neff of North Carolina, Sharon (Ben) Mitchell of Ohio, Sue Sachariat of Florida and a sister, Ann (Ron) Patterson of Ohio and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Richard F. Sachariat and brothers Gene and Bill Seigley.
