Obituary for Betty M. Falk
Betty M. Falk, age 90, died on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Brookdale Place of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017, 11:00 AM at the Christ United Church of Christ, 301 N. Main Street Orrville. Rev Randy Gehres will be officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, 6-8 PM at Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm Street,Orrville, OH. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to Christ United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 301 Main St.,Orrville, OH 44667 in her memory.


She was born August 25, 1927 in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard and Marie (Miller) Yates. Betty attended Apple Creek schools and graduated in 1946. She met and married Richard A. Falk and he preceded her in death on January 20, 1986. Betty lived in Apple Creek until 1958 and then moved to Orrville.
She worked at Freedlander Department Store, Fouches‘s grocery store and Gerry Stanford’s dress shop for 30 years. Betty loved attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting and school events, playing euchre, and was active in the local Republican Party, election board, And the American Legion. She was active member of the Christ United Church of Christ in Orrville.

Surviving her are a daughter Debbi K.(Falk) Mastrine of Orrville, a daughter in law Ronel Falk, grandchildren, Beau (Holly) Mastrine, Seth (Sarah) Mastrine, Ryan (Helena) Falk, Amber-Falk (Joel) Beichler, and Jorden (Danielle) Falk. Also surviving are great grandchildren Jax Mastrine,Tripp Mastrine, Keaton Mastrine, Rylen Falk, Lydia Falk, Piper Beichler, Marli Beichler, Victoria Falk and Deacon Falk

Preceding Betty in death are her husband Richard A. Falk, parents Leonard and Marie Yates, a son Richard L. Falk, a brother Charles Yates and a sister Mary (Yates) Eicher.
