Obituary for Betty L. Plymale
Betty L. Plymale, age 86, Plymale slipped peacefully into the waiting arms of Jesus and Daddy on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Aultman Orrville Hospital.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no public services or calling hours.
Betty was born September 28, 1934 to Orval and Rushie Bell (Jackson) Crites in Erbacon, WVA. as one of ten children, only two of her siblings survive Charles Crites (Dalton) and Odis Crites (Erbacon, WVA).
Mom married Philip R. Plymale on May 11, 1953. They enjoyed almost 50 years of marriage till Daddy passed on October 21, 2002.
Family was everything to them. Mom fell asleep nightly praying for their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Children are Roger Plymale (ex Jackie), Debra Klett (Jeff deceased), Loretta (Dan) Flickinger, Howard (Mary) Plymale and Gene (Karen) Plymale. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Over the years, Mom worked at J. M. Smucker Co., Wilburt Co., Crown Steel, Orrville Upholstery, Smitty’s Upholstery, Shanklin’s Upholstery and retired from Field’s Upholstery in 1986.
We will all miss her love of family, singing, cooking, sewing, gardening and the way she tended her many flowers and houseplants. Her motto was “Love everything and it will grow”.
