Obituary for Anthony R. Bursani
Anthony R. Bursani, age 89, passed away Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Burbank Parke Care Center, Burbank, Ohio.
A private family service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017, 11:00 AM at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville. Burial will be at St. Michaels Cemetery near Marshallville.
The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
The family suggests that friends may make a donation to LifeCare Hospice or the Animal Humane Society in his memory.
He was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Wooster to Anthony and Theresa (Cicconetti) Bursani and married Vivian Parsons in July of 1949. She preceded him in death on Nov. 9, 2010
Anthony was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, who later graduated from Wooster Business College after his military service. He was employed at Timken Steel in Wooster for over 30 years where his last position was as a computer tech until his retirement. Anthony enjoyed golfing, nature, going out to eat and his family.
Surviving is his sole daughter Connie (David) Giauque, and two grandchildren Whitney and Matthew Giauque. Out of a family of 13 Anthony has one sister and one brother surviving, as well as nieces and nephews.
Anthony will be greatly missed by his family. The family would also like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Burbank Parke Care Center for their special care and support.
