Obituary for Anna Mae Blough
Anna Mae Blough, age 87, died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center after a period of declining health. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012, 11:00 AM at the East Chippewa Church of the Brethren, 7207 Chippewa Rd. Orrville. Rev. Brad Kelly will be officiating. Burial will be at the East Chippewa Cemetery in Orrville, OH. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012, 6-8 PM at Gresser Funeral Home, 415 N. Elm Street, Orrville, OH. The family suggests that friends may make a donation to East Chippewa Church of the Brethren, 7207 Chippewa Rd. Orrville in her memory. She was born February 12, 1925 in West Farmington, Trumbull County, Ohio, the daughter of Guy and Eva (Shane) Curtiss. She married Harley D. Blough on January 17, 1948 and they enjoyed 60 years of happiness together. Anna was a graduate of Chester High School and retired after nearly 40 years at Rubbermaid in Wooster. She was a member of East Chippewa Church of the Brethren. Surviving is a daughter, Vickie Sue Blough of Sarasota Florida. Preceding Anna in death is husband, Harley D. Blough, adopted son, Ron Blough, her parents, Guy and Eva Curtis, a brother, Richard Curtis and sister, Edna (Curtis) Greegor. She lovingly helped rear her sister's children, Ron and Dwight Blough, Diane Greegor and the late Rosemarie Greegor.
