Obituary for Robert M. Flood
Robert Michael Flood, age 67, died on Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home, surrounded by loved ones, near Orrville, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016, 10:30 AM at Western Reserve Military Cemetery near Rittman. Military honors will be observed. Friends and relatives may call at Gresser Funeral Home from 8:30 – 9:30 AM prior to services.
He was born November 28, 1949 in Massillon, Ohio, the son of Philip and Doris (Cook) Flood. He married Deborah Kay Perkins on October 12, 1972 at St.Agnes Church in Orrville.
He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1968-1972 and served his country in Vietnam from 1969-1970. Robert was a welder by trade
Surviving are his wife, Deborah, daughter Sarah (William) Houseworth, grandson Dante Houseworth (his little knucklehead), brothers, Pat (Debbie) Flood, Bill (Cathy) Flood, sister Michelle (Kenny) Bell, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceeded in death by his mother Doris Cook Flood, father Phillip D Flood, Sr., brother Phillip D Flood, Jr, sister Kathleen Flood, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
